Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park encompasses five islands off the coast of Kota Kinabalu<\/a> in Sabah<\/a>, Borneo<\/a>: Gaya, Manukan, Sapi, Sulug, and Mamutik. These islands are situated in the South China Sea and are only a short boat ride away from the mainland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Established in 1974, the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park was created to protect and preserve the unique marine and terrestrial environment of the islands and their surrounding waters.
